"Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage."

Action research
Being a teacher involves everyday reflection. I would constantly think about how different ideas or concepts would work with a given student. With this action research project, I wanted to have a student feel successful within the classroom. This particular student, Sam, struggled with self-regulation in and outside the classroom. I felt as if I was becoming frustrated with the student, so I decided to begin implementing strategies to help this student self regulate in the classroom environment. I also wanted to take this time and reflect on my teaching strategies when it came to interacting with this particular student. I included the steps and data that I used and what progress that Sam had made during this time.
